How much does a concrete pool cost compared to vinyl?
Concrete is a premium investment — typically two to three times the cost of a comparable vinyl pool — reflecting the engineering, labour, and artistry involved. We provide transparent fixed quotes so there are never surprises.
How long does construction take?
Most concrete pools take eight to twelve weeks from excavation to swim-ready, depending on complexity, features, and weather.
Will a concrete pool crack in winter?
A properly engineered gunite shell with correct steel reinforcement and professional winterization handles Ontario winters beautifully. We engineer every shell for local soil and frost conditions.
Does concrete need resurfacing?
Interior finishes eventually refresh — quartz plaster every 15–20 years, pebble longer, tile longest of all. The structural shell itself lasts indefinitely.
Can a concrete pool be any depth or shape?
Yes — that’s the point. Diving depths, beach entries, irregular lagoons: concrete imposes no mould or liner constraints whatsoever.
